Joshua Dickinson is a programmer and computational artist interested in blurring the boundary between humans and machines. He received a BA in music composition from Columbia University in 2010 and an MS in Multimedia Engineering from the Media Art and Technology department at UC Santa Barbara in 2013. His research centers around human-computer interaction, cultural analytics, computer vision, and the exploration of large or otherwise unique datasets.
Dr. Michael Hetrick is a programmer, lifelong musician, and modular synthesizer obsessive from Canton, Ohio. He received his PhD from the Media Arts and Technology department at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is the creator of Euro Reakt, a collection of over 140 Blocks for Reaktor 6. He produces music under the name The February Thaw. He currently resides in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Ryan Michael McGee is an engineer, composer, and new media artist experienced in the development of custom and commercial software for spatial audio, sonification, sound design, interactive, and mobile applications. He holds a BSEE from the University of Texas at Dallas and a PhD in Media Arts and Technology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Ryan Produces music as Life Orange.
